Composer, sound artist and DIY-doyen Timothy Tate, and writer, poet and pop-culture connoisseur Zenobia Frost combine to make a Brisbane artistic duo creating some wonderful multimedia works. For Dots+Loops Nonstop 2021 we’ve been commissioned to create a new immersive installation. Called ‘Static Mediations’, it weaves together piles of obsolete technologies, poetry and primitive text-based video games to create an interactive Choose-Your-Own-Adventurer rabbit hole, and boy oh boy does it deliver some mind-bending goodness.
